If (a big if!) a low ball offer of 500-600m has been offered for WE/ED (or takeover), I would of thought CEO and Board would be on same page....however if a substantial offer has been made that would really put the heat on and could create a rift between parties. Interested to see how news is received tomorrow and over next few weeks.
Personally Ii think Stu will be hurting but on the upside he can have some stress free time off with family soon, if the SP goes down, he knows he was valued, if it goes up, well he makes $100k for every 1 cent increase in SP, win-win.
