As to who will read the 3d seismic and decide where to stick the bit, that will come down to what Tony Cortis and co decide to do. Hopefully they stick around should the company keep going I, too, have considered the possibility that Macquarie raised concerns about SN prior to finalising finance (an issue raised by dabble) as a potential explanation for his sudden departure but put it in the “possible but unlikely” basket. After all, the last announcement suggests finance was all but agreed. I think the simplest explanation, until proven otherwise, is the most likely: that there was a difference of opinions between SN and the board on the best way forward.
