Interesting to see sudden buying support, read the CEO and Chairman's report, events in the middle east and also the reaction to the Voice vote which I believe will provide support to resource projects going forward in Australia.
Woke is dying worldwide and dying fast. Woke is code for expensive inefficient green energy and cost of living is becoming important again.
I read of much frustration from the chairman down to shareholders of delay but what if this delay turns out to have been a huge positive.
Oil in the ground is starting to be seen as the currency of the middle east and Eastern world along with Gold. (See BRICS actions.)
The US treasury market in meltdown.
Fracking of oil is at a peak in the Permian but getting more expensive to produce and expectation of a large production dropoff in the months to come.
Russia could turn off the taps to Europe this winter.
CVN has a resource that is like money in a bank yet while fiat currency is likely to devalue, Oil is likely to inflate in value in the next few years. With woke the interest in Oil was at zero percent, now that interest rate is growing.
Back to the sudden buying, yet small amount to date.
Has CVN done a deal with Woodside which I hope they would as cashflow allows for the (interest rate) of oil to grow while the Dorado resource stays in its bank, has Santos sold part of its share or is there a party/s waking up to the value of Dorado and undervalue of the shareprice of CVN?
While no shareholder or management likes to see the shareprice go down over time its some comfort to see the asset the company owns have improving fundamentals when many other companies in different sectors are facing headwinds.
The future years could/should see a much higher oil price and possibly a much weaker US$ and maybe just maybe the delay in producing from Dorado will generate a higher per barrel return.
It will be interesting to see why some buying has again appeared and if management have an announcement to make before the AGM as I am sure they want to hold a meeting with the shareprice at 15c
