Copper Production Units is the additional pounds of copper that are expected to be produced when the mine and mill are running at name-plate throughput and grade.
Another way of looking at it is that DML quote unit costs of production or $ per lb. The chart from Slide 11 suggests that: - they can reduce costs, the numerator, by $18M per annum; and - increase production, the denominator, by 23% to 5.8kt per quarter; relative to Q1 FY14.
