Potentially another party has been accumulating a stake in AWE, with BPT regularly mentioned as a possible suitor.
If so, as the bid price cannot be lower than price which the bidder paid for a target security within the previous 4 months, that "suitor" would presumably need to bid 86.5c plus (assuming it was the large bidder at that price).
