From Weekend Australian (p.22):

"The [AWE] price has ticked up but is still cheap, in the eyes of Stock Analysis, saying suitor MIN could sell non-Perth basin assets and retain Waitsia for free!"

FWIW based on yesterday's close, even MIN's original bid (~ 95c) is worth closer to the top of your 90c to $1 range than the revised bid of 83c which the AWE Board fell over themselves to recommend.
