From Weekend Australian (p.22):

FWIW based on yesterday's close, even MIN's original bid (~ 95c) is worth closer to the top of your 90c to $1 range than the revised bid of 83c which the AWE Board fell over themselves to recommend.

I reckon there was some backdoor deals.

Senior management get to keep their jobs as MIN has no oil and gas experience and they will keep these nubs.

Where Chinese will probably sack most of them instantly after the takeover.
