ARENA has a vested interest in promoting its successes, particularly to the parliament that holds a sword over its head. CWE is the only wave energy company in Australia that had demonstrable success (so far). It is in a superb position in that the C3 and C5 array have worked so very well. The inference is that, “Of course, the C6 array will perform to the design specs in the same way. Hence ARENA should be allowed to extend its supportive work with even more funding.”

Bio Power Systems intends to deploy its WEC in the next two months at Port Fairy. Presumably it will be showcased at parliament next year. (An Oceanlinx type event couldn’t happen twice, could it?)
