@Lord Bell I have tremendous respect for your views and experience and the calm head you bring to this thread.
It is for that reason that I wish to clarify what you described as me suggesting there be "cooking the books". I don't suggest management does anything at all that is illegal, improper or outside of accounting policy or regulatory compliance.
As I stated, I have run companies. I have never acted outside of professional integrity and won't own investments in companies that do.
I am, however, aware that management have a number of levers, within full compliance, which can be applied to ensure revenue is all that it can be and expenses are best managed. One of the most common activities is negotiating special deals with suppliers for EOFY sales items and using that as a lever to entice new customers through an inital 'trial' purchase so that they experience the benefits of CTT's superior technology. That one is simple. There are other less simple but fully compliant means.
The point I was wishing to stress was that management would be determined to reach or exceed the $85m sales revenue forecast that was provided to the market just 15 days prior to the cut off date for FY20-21.
