"I'm unsure CGT's position in the Thai market but it sounds like they are in a great position to take advantage of the new regulations."
@Sweetmole They tell you exactly what their position is in Thailand with this ann...
They're simply a 'service-provider / consultancy'. In their own words, "CGT's service-based revenue model"
What is inconsistent about it is the name of Cann Global's subsidary - 'Cann Global Thailand' (CGT)
The initial agreement was announced last June under their subsidary - 'Cann Global ASIA' (CGA)
CGA had a problem with a company in Laos who tried a $6.1M lawsuit against them which was totally ridiculous - no idea how that ended up as I don't remember any update (surprise, surprise) on that.
https://menafn.com/1100324140/Cann-Global-Limited-ASXCGB-Cann-Global-Asia-UpdateMy suspicion is that they registered a NEW subsidary (CGT - 55% owned by CGB, but who would own the other 45% ?? - Maybe AA Bio ? Another company under Feldman ownership ?) to take over the agreement with the Thai Uni who are working with AA Bio Co Ltd.
Aparently, the original agreement was also to produce an amount of Oil to (in part) satisfy a $750k order.
Is that still in place or has any of it been delivered ?
So their news of this morning means nothing to me as they're only expressing the fact that they are 'pleased' with the progress being made with Thai leglisation and processing of licence applications will begin this week. I'd reckon it's pretty much guaranteed CGB/CGT will be licenced, as well as AA Bio.
I'd have thought that by now, considering past history, everything would be totally transparent but I'm not convinced.
Maybe I'm just whingeing but I'd much prefer to see news on new contracts as opposed to a narrative of expressing pleasure at the progress of leglisation in Thailand.
