On a net return per lot / hectare sure, returns would be lower. However yield isn't the issue - it's the fact the sales and marketing team (board members included) is inept. i.e cannot sell the oil or wood produced from harvest. The growers co op is obviously confident that they can achieve higher prices per kilo of oil or tonne of wood.
