Realistically it went nowhere after the last myc announcement apart from the initial jump, it was systematically smashed back down to around 2c pretty quickly. I wonder if this time will be any better. I think any follow up announcement on omomyc may struggle, but if yhey can show same or better with a proprietry drug that may be something. Many on here said the omomyc was not the point, it was just a demonstration of the capability. Interesting then that we now appear to be an oncology company looking for a proprietry drug compound to take to clinical trials... Or am i missing something.

Im still trying to put two and two together cos my issue with the earlier trials was yhat it was being injected into a tumor directly, which i thought was a bit whatever. You could possibly kill a tumor if you injected it directly with lots of things??

The talk from the company in that last couple of presentations sounds exactly like what we need ie something that can actively seek out and selectively kill active cancer cells when put in the body. I just wonder if it is a dream like the 4 deals a year they thought they would get for the last 8 years or if they are actually seriously close. If they could do as they hint at then that would be massive. I think that was why it got smashed down so hard after omomyc result. Injecting directly into tumors may be useful for late stage cancer but who wants it to get that far.
