You would have to assume it's positive ds just based on the fact that PYC never seem to give a negative update when something doesnt work out, unless like jenssens deal falling through they have no choice. The fact they volunteered that they would be able to announce something so soon has to make me think at least that it must be going well. If it wasnt they just wouldnt mention it.
Normal pyc form would be to not make any further mention of the subject and then slowly move to working in another field? Isnt this how we got from phylomers to anti microbials to oncology. I am definately expecting that the genentech deal will not produce much good news, as that is being handled with exactly this style - ie nothing much being said other than we handed over results and they have a year to assess. Spruiked as a 140 million dollar potential yet where is the excitement from the company as they hand over the results and walk away it appears.
