On balance I’d prefer a bit less but the cash bonus were for bringing around a successful ipo (I think it took about 2 years including the acquisition of the danish and uk firms to highlight a growth strategy. It’s clearly been flagged as one off events for 2017. He’d have negotiated something into his deal to get everything over the line. Much as I’d like to say it was all part of the job -but if he was doing the lion share of the work it’s in the interests of the owners at the time to get the deal done and they needed him I’m comfortable enough that it’s stated as a one off event in the remuneration report due to the ipo.
