A week ago, I observed a Perth - Melbourne freight train (intermodal) close to its destination.
Of the 93 wagons, 10 were LAU rail containers, the most I have seen on any intermodal nationally.
LAU is little traded. Unease about what occurs in a potentially interminable court case (see separate thread 'Court Proceedings')) must be weighing on the share price.
However it's good to see the company expanding its use of rail and perhaps to a small extent, its overall share of the highly competitive surface transport market that despite large companies like Linfox and Toll stilla huge number of 'independent' road transport operators.
