Reflecting more on the outlook and QUB's performance, it cements my view that Paul Digney (who is quite understated) was a pretty good choice to succeed Maurice James as CEO/MD.
It is really important in logistics that the individual at the top has a good understanding of the intricacies, given QUB is an amalgam of many parts, so hard to beat 20 years' experience. Tried and tested!
Don't expect it to be reflected in the SP for a while. 'Mr Market' seems skittish about a 2023 recession, and ready to downgrade companies at the slighest sniff of one, and conversely extremely slow to reward well performing entities with share price accretion.
