I'm not sure about funding for Yallourn, as my total interest has been Wombat/Beach/fraccing.

Annels was in US at time of Moratorium announcement, trying to raise funds, and it appeared he was just as shocked as us SH's.

The bureaucrat I spoke to in Ryans (actually the Water Ministers office), spoke negatively about Lakes negligence to do something about safeguarding their fraccing interest, saying they had plenty of time in advance.

Bloody amazing, the apathetic attitude , whether Labor or Liberal or National, which I expressed to them.
I couldn't believe the Vic Liberal Govt doing a Labor ("ban the live meat export to Indonesia"), with no proper consideration for those involved.

I can also understand, to a certain degree, Annels not being able to push the bureaucrats for a more reasonable response to anything.
.... it would be like if an inspector was coming to your property to inspect, whether electrical, or building development, etc, etc., most people shut up and don't antagonise the inspector for fear of causing more problems for one self.

But in this case, I feel stronger action of some sort, if possible, should be taken, especially if there is no definitive answers and direction from the Vic Govt next month.(and that would not surprise me, if it is put off till a further date, because of the Green groups and political pressures.)

Minister Ryan, with this knowledge of Lakes, you would have thought, would have allowed Lakes to continue what they had started, and possibly put on hold, any other fraccing in Victoria, if he was an honourable man, but obviously he is not.

There was no other fraccing planned that I know of.

"mouth from the south", comes to mind now.
