Ron has valid concerns imho. Did not the chairman use the word "concerns" in the same sentence as "early water cut". Past dashed hopes with this JV would be cause enough not to dismiss this too lightly imo.
Having had dialog with Ron on other boards over the years I would respect his views, and never dismiss them lightly. Based on his credibility and research I was fortunate reconsider and exit another stock at a small profit (which I would otherwise be at a loss on, and carrying risks I was unaware of).
