    I agree Legume,

    The trade off in trying to increase the ROE is that it can be done relatively easily by increasing the debt loading for organic or acquisitive growth (vs. sourcing more equity) but this obviously increases the risk for the company if things go pear shaped.

    Much better, IMO, to have a balanced approach.

    I would imagine that MCP's ROE will increase materially over the next few years as bolt on acquisitions are made using free cash flow at very low multiples.
