Not really the full story P87. They got sold a dud in API. It had internal problems which they had to fix, which caused their debt position to increase. Because of their detorioating debt position they had to sell API to reduce debt - the only thing they could do.
The MD hours were reduced to save money, they are striving to generate profits.
