If people want a baby, you can't put a price on a new life, or the potential to have a baby. House, car, credit card debt, no long become rational. I know of a couple that spent 100K on having a child with IVF, because they wanted a family, they continued renting a house. So that argument is rubbish. If people want a child they will pay the price and make scarifies.
