I think they have always planned to sell it at 297. Discounting was just part of the marketing strategy. The margins on those watches should be quite large I’m assuming around 60%. I am a bit cautiois of the 10k unit sales forecast. By those estimates we are looking at 3M in sales and possibly 2M npat on the watches alone. Seems like a material uplift on a company that has a market cap of 5M.
I also have been selling but still hold some. They may turn around but might have to watch the next few updates.
