Reiterating what has been observed before: It's not enough for an emergent Lithium Brine producer to simply announce "we've done it." Others have made that mistake and later paid the price because they were some ways off proving the process was cost effective and scalable.
AGY are smart enough to know that when they announce BG Li it has to be: Done it, Done at commercial scale, Proved it's repeatable, and the cost per tonne is $X OPEX.
So, yes. I think we can assume they've done it.
They may go one better than that and announce a higher grade than 99.5% purity and show pictures of a few tonnes drummed-up and ready to ship as samples.
Having already "fast tracked" to industrial scale production, it means that when they do announce BG Li, it means AGY will also (implicitly) be announcing OPEN FOR BUSINESS - i.e. they will be a producer.
