Very good points.
Although it doesn’t seem to make sense at first, I have decided that their end game is simply to pick up multiple director salaries along the way for minimal effort.
They can then always use the old “we hold x amount of shares and have a lot of skin in the game. It’s in our interest to have the share price perform”
If we could properly run the numbers, I think we’d find they got a lot of the shares for free and have earned more than they’ve spent.
The fire sale is just the result of a poorly run company with no real effort put in.
As for the acquisitions, it’s obviously s lot easier to just acquire a bunch of land than it is to actually run a drill program properly. Make a bunch of acquisitions and make it look like you’re doing something.
