Hi mate, have taken on board some of the other poster's points of view but still join you in saying an early JV at Salobo, after we have waited all this time, is nuts! They MUST raise enough to put down at least a dozen holes, and if they know their geology that should be about enough to hit a sweet spot.

I am OK then to do a JV if the deal is really good (e.g. we keep 50%) but by then (say) our cap would be in the hundreds of mills so we could negotiate from strength.

Don't want to cross-pollinate but a quick look at STM where they also waited years for a permit and have just started drilling shows what a junior with the smarts can do - there a fantastic team of porphyry hunters hit their target porphyry on the second hole - no, not the high grade core (if it exists) - but 600m of visible Cu + Mo mineralisation, with high expectations for gold on assay.

If you have the right men on board, and they have the guts to have a go - we have to give them a go
