Further to this, I think the reason why I was confused was because the hedges are 25,000 oz, which represents about 20% - 25% of monthly production of 114,000 ounces, but the difference between $2222 "average price realised" was less than 10% of the price of gold - which was around $2400.
I think that was the disconnect that threw me off.
Gold had a $30 range at the end of last week, hopefully it starts to rebound / stabilise this week.
Anyways, it doesn't matter, we are all going to die because of this new variant
