Just watched the online AGM. Very impressed as to how it was produced with live voting and question buttons to lodge a vote or ask a question. No technical hiccups at all and Jake looked very cool and professional inhis lime green tie and suit.
I thought the meeting would last a lot longer and wanted to type a question regarding the 1GW hydro power station under review at Mt Rawdon but couldn’t get it in on time.
I would like to know if EVN would retain a part ownership with the proposed power company once the hydro power station is commissioned. If so this could reduce or offset our ESG commitment to net zero immediately it’s commissioned. I know EVN is a mining company but it would be stupid not to take a major stake in a grid green power company going forward. Imagine the revenue from part ownership in a power company of that size.
I’m not sure yet that all shareholders realise the $$$$$ potential here to hold an interest in this project!
