I noted that during that early evening the sentiment for both gold and silver turned quite bullish as soon as the UK inflation figures came out.... and yeah..... the Russia/Ukraine tension level just keeps ramping up!
And when I saw gold totally obliterate that ~1830s heavy resistance wall that has been in play for months it was game on for the US miners to join in the fun..... S&P continued down on trading but GDX, GDXJ, SIL & SILJ heavily bought throughout the day.... all finishing up around 7-8% for the day. They are very significant one day moves...... it feels very bullish for our whole aussie PM sector today..... let's see if MKR can find a bid!
