With her tail between her legs, Tessa sadly notes that the humans with which she has so enjoyed discussing SRH seem to have departed the neighbourhood. Tessa has now barked three times into the SRH air, only to be met with silence each time. Where oh where have her old friends gone? Morley, Stayer…even Rothbard, with whom Tessa enjoyed so many long walks, and who swore he would never leave Tessa’s side as they travelled the SRH pathway together, is nowhere to seen, and his scent no longer discernible whenever I expectantly raise my nose in search of it. I will continue to bark once or twice more, in the hope that someone answers, and I am not now all alone.
