Yes the monies in the bank and should grow a lot more in the next 12 months. The board has stated they are not happy with the current s/p which is almost the same as when the company was unsustainable. The board says they will assess all options to deliver value to shareholders. There appear to be three options (a) a share buy back (b) pay a dividend (c) add value by T/O another company, the board does not appear to like (A) or (b) and shareholders might like (c) but management might. The ASX at the present time appears to be saying there is no future for smaller oil/gas companies, some are even at 20 year lows. But wait a minute, at the current time in the USA we are seeing A$200bn merger T/O activity in the oil/gas sector, big money is saying they still see a bright long time future in the sector. If this is correct then the ASX offers some outstanding bargains in the smaller oil/gas sector. Look at CUE partner CTP sitting at a 16 year low of .045 compared to its price of $1.12 in 2008 or its price of 51 cents in 2014 , currently it appears to be similar situation to 2014 maybe slightly better. This or another smaller oil/gas company might be what management are looking at to create shareholder value. IMO the ASX oil/gas sector is ripe for T/O merger activity , maybe management agree with this?.
