Never fails to amaze me, true to form again, the mum and dad shareholder "pigs at the trough" again at post-AGM refreshments, a.k.a. feeding time at the zoo. The lack of manners is absolutely disgusting and really, there should be something said at the end to remind people that it is not a 'pig-out' fest.
I think that some of the Asian staff there must have wondered "Is this what people do in Australia ?" and I would not blame them for thinking we are "ugly Australians". I was embarrassed.
Staff valiantly trying to put out plates of sandwiches and cakes, and people were snatching them or sticking their hands all over them before staff could even place them on the table, not using tongs, but what takes the (one remaining) biscuit was this :-
I heard one staff member say to another something about "That poor guy in the wheelchair, they just trampled him".
Do we really have so little food and so much greed in Australia that we have to trample people in wheelchairs ?!
