When they built all those CSG projects in Qld modular was how they managed them - modular well head separators - thousands of these. Modular compression facilities where the process plant (compression facilities) components were broken into pre-assembled modules with all the piping, valves, motors, tanks, cable tray & cables, etc then shipped to site & assembled on site with all the interconnections taking place on site. This modular approach was perfected by offshore oil rigs & probably the first mega-project in Australia to use this approach was Gove G3 way back around 2006. It has been my experience that every major project in Australia since has taken this path. So there are plenty of people, processes & suppliers to do this & do it well.
