Ha! We haven't had stability at a Federal level for 10 years! Not sure waiting is going to help
In any event, three initial thoughts I have on your comment:
1/ More a State Govt thing anyway and Qld likes the income it gets from the industry and you'd think looks OK from our interests point of view
2/ Both govts. are giving the gas companies the hurry up to solve the East Coast gas issue, so if anything, not getting in their way
3/ The big players that may be (likely?) interested in Blue's tenement are BIG, and a "few hundred million" is not game changing in relation to their balance sheets. (but could secure a lot of gas on the other hand)

Personally, rightly or wrongly, I'm not too concerned on that front.
