I believe Mark was the one who pointed out any resignation of JC would leave AZZ shareholders on the hook for $1m in unpaid owed leave. This person was very supportive of JC and indicated he was working extremely hard for shareholders and should be congratulated. The effusiveness of the speech made me question the independence of the speaker.
Note that I understand directors entitlements (incl outstanding leave pay) to rank below noteholders so it was a moot point if so (and the individual should have been better informed).
