Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it Trevor Shortt that JH was threatening to reprimand? That is how the article in the west made it out to be.
My understanding is that the Board took the negotiation role off of JH and put it in TS's responsibility. JH then tried to force TS to turn down the role under threat of a conduct warning.
I actually would think the board were correct in taking it out off of JH. If there is disagreement between board members over which way to proceed in terms of farmin negotiations, then for one board member to be responsible would bias the decisions in his favour as opposed to the consensus of the board.
Either way, I'm happy with the current way forward and hope we receive some further information on farmins soon.
