Little in corporate Australia ought surprise given how so many large corporates including QAN and WES so badly misread the mood of many of their own SH (of which I am not one with either) in throwing SH funds at the divisive, racist push for 'YES' in the 14 October 2023 referendum.
In the end, slightly above 60 per cent of Australians thumbed their nose at corporate elites, resoundingly voting NO. Only the ACT voted YES, which says it all.
If even a third of what Mathieson says is true about EDV's corporate costs being out of control, the Board and Chairman are badly letting SH down.
