No idea why but this share can only bring pain without a major shake out in the way they do things and need to actually introduce a product where there is not already better incumbents in the marketplace. Protecting households and electrical goods was ok 15 years ago but they are now such a cheap disposable and portable item it is not worth doing and the odds of recovery very slim. Just what is the record of recovered goods with data dots? Cars, bikes and outboards - well itis just a marketing thing these days and unless insurers offer substantial discount i can't see it lasting long term.
Protection of explosives and genuine fertilisers and chemicals is good on the surface but has to be secure and cheap due to the volume. Counterfeit producers move at light speed and unless teh company involves has a serious fraud detection department like Nike etc who persue manufacturers and distributors or such products it all results in zip. If end users don't have a reader and know what to look for then they will still be duped. Why not a app and reader via camera back to database?
