May I suggest to you that you have another read of my post.
And all you are doing you are going around in circle only proving that you know very little, if anything, about tendering processes and follow up procedures. I am even willing to bet that WM himself will have a good laugh at reading what you are saying. Nevertheless, posters seem to give you all the TU's possible even if some of them haven't got a clue of what the discussion is all about, and some of them without offence menat to anyone, may even still believe in fairies if they are to believe what you have said.
Besides, on another issue, what are feasiblity studies and figures posted in announcements? Don't they quote expected costs for a company going to mining as well?
On this issue, you can ask AKA what he thought about PLV with the costs it released to get to mining in Irvine, and what it did to the share price after that announcement. It was just murder like it happend with CDU when the famous JORC was released, if not worse. That ROH, is what some of the "Perth Naysayers" as you call them, have been asking for.
There is no use at all telling anyone that I am on budget, over budget, or under budget in something that I am planning to do, if no one knows what my budgeted amount was in the first place, roflmao.
Then you go on saying:
" any party ,if it had its hands on the budget details before tendering, would be at a distinct advantage to CDU."
May I suggest to you that you read what you are writing before posting?? For, for that to happen, you are suggesting that someone in the company itself would have to be involved in releasing information to some people tendering. That, in anyone's language, is illegal and open for possible prosecution and immediate dismissal by the company. I would like to see what WM would do to that person, if that was to happen. IMHO, His/Her's life may not be worth living.
And to finish off, you also wrote:
"When I get quotes, I do not say this is What I EXPECT TO PAY. Do you.?"
Honestly Roh, I didn't expect for you to even dream of saying the above into an open Forum. That doesn't make any sense at all with what has been discussed in these threads lol, and only proves that you are clutching at straws in trying to prove a point.
And one thing that you seem to possibly and intentionally bypass, is the fact that we are not only talking about one single part for the construction of an item of plant. We are talking about spending millions and millions of dollars to get CDU to the mining stage. And, to get us to the mining stage, there are countless items of parts and procedures to complete that job. From concrete slabs, to roads, to electricty generators, to storage facilities and the list goes on and on.
So, if we say that we have budgeted for say $200mill. dollars to get us to mining stage, it doesn't mean that whoever is supplying the crushing plant has $200mill. dollars that he can play with. He would only put in a tender for the supply and install of the crushing plant while he wouldn't have a clue at what WM set aside for that crushing plant within the budget itself. That, of course, is just an example.
That alone, to me and IMO, says that you are not very knowledgeable about tendering processes and legal procedures. Just guessing and twisting things just to try and promote some valid points in your previous comments.
My suggestion to you, without prejudice at all, is that you stick to other parts of CDU and the commissioning of the crushing plant, which it seems that you are very good at keeping us up to date with.
Lets hope that CDU will get us to that point without any outside interference. But there is still a long way to go yet, before the hatching is completed.
I am now out of portfolio #1, and I do still hold the whole lot of portfolios #2 and #3.
Good luck mate.
