We were informed by Kubrka that a civil contractor was
on site not that they were responsible for the removal of the overburden!
Once the tenders were accepted and the extents of works
were defined the price is locked in and the contracts are signed, do you mean to suggest to this forum that the
contractor realised that his costs were lower than he expected and in a magnanimous gesture decided to hand $16Mill back to CDU?
Possibly you should re read some of the CDU Anns they stated
on more than one occasion that they were using their own
equipment to do various site works. [that is fact]
Your comments related to disclosure,tenders and the processes involved are more than"interesting" for want of a better word,
Your opinions and comments are obviously based on a wealth of experience in Project Management,Tenders and Contracts,
the Construction Industry and Mine development.
I am sure that ALL on this forum look forward to clarification from CDU re costs and timing of the mine
development.
