The greens can cry all they want. The fact of the matter is the world is not ready for green energy. We are in a recession. EU pouring money into the Ukraine as opposed to keeping the money for their people and green infrastructure etc. Green electricity is costly and vastly inefficient (at present) compared to nuclear, gas or coal.
Whether they like it or not. Fossil fuels will be around for a long time to come as the world simply can't switch these off overnight and expect the world to do without power with no other infrastructure built in its place.
