Yep, really great to foreshadow a CR then do nothing for a while! What else do they think would happen to the share price?
Even though they have stated they recognise the way they run the company has to change, as I said in my last post, perhaps some of the personnel at Senior Management, and also the board need to change!
The board is somewhat negligent for standing by the CEO whilst he promised heaps and delivered little, especially with respect to export. Their hire business is very susceptible to private players who would tend to run their operations leaner…yes, perhaps the road barriers etc give them some advantage in that area…I hope they sell off lighting and other general plant hire.
I thought the excuses proffered by the Chair to be a bit glib really, it looks like they just mucked up to a fair extent.
