One example of its forward thinking is that on the day SNL opened its Truganina (western suburbs of Melbourne) outlet - a pleasure to be there - the company said it had already purchased the vacant land next door.
Sure, this might be much harder or impossible in an established light industrial area, but it was an example of SNL thinking strategically, given a future expansion next door should be easier and cheaper than purchasing another greenfields site a few (or many) kilometres away.
