SNL in the 52 weeks to 31 December 2023 rose by 31.25 per cent, hugely outperforming various ASX indices.

On top of that, SH received quite reasonable dividends with the option of a DRP providing further (paper) capital gains.

While it is not immune to economic conditions and Labor governments' penchant for increasing regulations and legislation, SNL appears to have a terrific small team of Directors who being sizeably invested in the company tend to make very sensible decisions.

A terrific performance. Well done to Directors and staff, some of whom I was fortunate to meet at Truganina, western Melbourne when SNL opened its new branch. Thank you for the opportunity to have a pleasant chat with the Chairman, a lovely man who most certainly did not come across as arrogant or condescending.

SNL doesn't engage in corporate wokeism or other trendy headline-catching "initiatives": it simply delivers for its clients, shareholders and hopefully its staff.
