You keep making the rookie error of thinking the company is entitled to the cash as it appears in the balance sheet.
As for "unlisted (but market value) investments", are youserious?
How is a ...uh... "market value" derived for investments derived if those investments are unable to be marked-to-market given they are not quoted on any market?
I think that someone who has been left holding the bag on a number of recent failed capital raisings, which crashed not only through TERP, but also through the raising price, should probably not be doling out lessons on how to assess balance sheets.
As for ENN, when the facts change, I change my mind and I sell.
