Unlike you, I am able to form a view independent of marketing publications.
Why that should preclude me from being an owner of a business escapes me.
In fact, I very often disagree with the opinions put forward by the managers of my investee companies. They don't have any sort of monopoly of having opinions that are 100% accurate 100% of the time.
As case in point, I am a shareholder in ORA. Their recent ... um... "presentation" say that the business generated positive cash flows, yet the financial accounts tell otherwise. Which of those would you trust?
