Something I was thinking about with the south west JV is that CHN is more likely to get this into production due to there high market cap and ease of access they have to funds with minimum dilution due to there SP, they can get this into production if results come back favourable with little to no dilution needed from VMS with a 30% stake. VMS may be able to fund the 30% without dilution to shareholders. At 100% ownership I believe the case would be very different so in my opinion it's a win win and delivers value to both company's while also using CHN which is considered a specialist in these kind of deposits now.
It will allow management to focus on other deposits while still having the upside of the JV.
