Hey watcher, the rise and fall in share price of the big local tin play over the last 12 months has coincided with the big rise and fall in the tin price, even though, as you say, they have large cash reserves and good profits. Seems to show that sentiments among investors are heavily influenced by the fluctuating commodity prices.
Tin will surely climb again due to longer term supply and demand forces. The graphs in about 2 years time may well see another reversal if world electronics production reaches any normal level when Covid restrictions lessen. (Every world pandemic has eventually subsided. Why should this one be different??)
China has been severe on lockdowns, but will no doubt be keen to open up again as soon as possible.
