I'm going to have to disagree with you and play devils advocate and say that CGF for a number of year has been trading at an overvalued price. Take a look at the PE ratios, Price to Book and price to cashflow over the past 10 years. Challenger's earnings were nothing special in the years they were up. We've hit a bump and come back to fair value. I believe that we are even undervalued. Even if the ROE is 10% instead of 12% for future prospects, that still puts them in a fantastic position to be returning substance to their holders. I personally have some buy targets set at $5.
