If i wanted to be really critical and conspiratorial they could be reducing their risk to challenger based on short to medium term market view.
It could very well be that rates have remained too high for too long and we are about to see a surge in unemployment and deterioriation in credit, something that CGF's statutory book has a lot of exposure to.
