It seems they have found what they were looking for although fatter seams would have been desirable?
And they say these skinny rich veins of gold are 45 metres or two levels below the current drilling .
Can someine who knows mining advise if the narrowness of the seams is an issue in terms of the production costs of going deeper to get at them ?

The psychology of the late announcement is intriguing ...
